St. Jude Regional Catholic School offers a full day, fully licensed, PreK program for children ages 3 and 4 years old. The academic program is faith centered and focuses on foundational reading and math skills to prepare students for kindergarten.
Students are introduced to Catholic religious foundations and become familiar with God’s love for all children. All students will attend Mass with middle school buddies to guide them in church.
Students in PreK explore their world through integrated lessons, engaging in play to help develop critical thinking skills, encourage problem-solving, and foster creativity. Play based centers include arts and crafts, language and literacy development, math, science, religious studies, and music.
Everyday students practice independence skills through their daily routine that includes outdoor play at our playground and an afternoon nap as required by the OCC. Students also participate in weekly specials (art, music, library, and physical education).
Many students in the PreK program participate in before and after care (Starting at 7:00am and lasting until 6:00pm).
All students in PreK must be potty trained.
